SL-C105 is a resin-derived porous carbon engineered for next-generation high-energy-density batteries. Produced through high-temperature carbonization and activation, it addresses the severe volume expansion of silicon anodes during charge/discharge cycles.
Unlike conventional carbon carriers with uneven pore structures, SL-C105 features a three-dimensionally interconnected porous framework with concentrated pore size distribution. This enables efficient nano-silicon adsorption and confines expansion within the pores, significantly improving cycle life. The resin-derived carbon layer also provides fast electron transport pathways.
More than a porous carbon, SL-C105 is an integrated "buffering and conductive" carrier platform tailor-made for silicon-carbon anodes.
